Mona went to be with the Lord on 2-19-08 after a very sudden illness. Mona was an extremely talented and creative artist. She was an art teacher who dearly loved her students. She deeply loved her family. She loved old cars, flea markets and visiting with her many dear and close friends. She is survived by her Mother Bonnie Johnson Blaine MN, Sisters Barb Spencer (Jerry) Oxford WI, Maxine Byrne Machesney Park IL, Cathleen Earlywine (John) Dakota IL, Brothers Matt Johnson (Dianna) Bloomington IN, Ed Johnson (Kelly) Blaine MN. Nieces and nephews: Celina Earlywine, James Earlywine, Justin Earlywine, Rachel Spencer, Samuel Spencer, Maria Byrne, Matt Johnson, Josh Johnson, Zack Johnson, Jerome Johnson, Brianna Walsh. Preceded in death by Father Elmer Johnson, Brother Jimmy Johnson.
A memorial service was held in her honor on June 19th 2008. Thanks to all that attended and shared their personal memories and helped us celebrate the privilege of her presence in our lives.
